After exploring several of the award winning sites, I thought that the heritage/genealogy sites would work well for one of my classes. I was disappointed. It was the same site we had tried to use but you had to be a member/or pay. I guess since I thought they were award winning they would be free :)
I did like one of the publishing ones 'lulu'. It had a free make your own calendar which I can incorporate into some level 1 language classes.
